Shawn Thia (born 7 December 1995) is a Singaporean actor and artiste. Thia began his first foray into acting in 2016, taking on commercials and short films on a part-time basis while balancing his job in the marine offshore industry. 

Thia first left an impression in 2019 when he played the younger version of Peter Yu on MediaCorp Channel 5’s “Fried Rice Paradise”. He then moved on to his first major supporting role as Julian on the multi-lingual series “128 Circle”.

In 2020, Thia’s breakthrough role came as Ah Zai in TiTouDao: a drama inspired by the real life of a wayang star. The show was an instant hit, breaking records as one of the most viewed shows in the channel’s history and has since made its way into Netflix.

Thia then showed his versatility when he landed himself a major role in MediaCorp primetime Mandarin drama Genie in a Cup (哇到宝).

Thia has since been stabilizing his career in local TV, concurrently being heavily involved with both English & Mandarin long-form dramas - Sunny Side Up & My One And Only (只此一家).
